Aviators and Jr. Americans game postponed

ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Elmira Aviators and Rochester Jr. Americans Friday night game has been postponed. A makeup game is scheduled for a date and time to be named later.

The LECOM Event Center had an ice issue throughout Friday. The staff made every effort to prepare the surface for safe play, but it was ultimately determined that the ice was unfit for game action.

Game 2 of the series will go on as scheduled Saturday night at 7 p.m. Fans who purchased tickets for Friday’s game will have free admittance to Saturday’s game and the makeup game.

Saturday is First Responders Night and all first responders and their families will receive free admittance to the game.

The makeup game has no scheduled time, but stay tuned to @elmiraaviatorsnahl and the LECOM Event Center on all social platforms to stay informed with the latest updates.
